As an NCDC member, we invite you to connect with organizations like yours and learn through programs and resources created specifically for Catholic fundraisers. The NCDC community commits to the highest level of accountability, and by becoming a member, you and your organization will become an integral part of advocating for all those in the ministry of fundraising.

Aside from the benefits named above, the NCDC community offers several unique opportunities, including:

MEMBER OPPORTUNITIES

There are two distinct types of membership opportunities within the NCDC community: Nonprofit Membership and Corporate Partnership. Nonprofit membership is our largest group of members. This group consists of active members, affiliate members, diocesan members, and associate members. On the other hand, corporate partnership consists of corporate leaders and their teams who partner with organizations to support the mission of NCDC.

 

NONPROFIT MEMBERSHIP

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY

Nonprofit membership in NCDC (subject to approval by the Board of Directors) is organizationally-based and is open to Catholic and non-Catholic nonprofit organizations. Requirements of nonprofit member organizations include:

From religious communities to social service agencies, shrines to schools, and beyond, NCDC is the only organization that brings Catholic fundraisers together as a community for the best networking, leading, and advocacy opportunities. NCDC membership offers a wide range of benefits for your entire organization.

All members of the fundraising staff of a nonprofit member organization are entitled to NCDC member benefits, including:

  • Discounted rates to Annual Conference and Exposition, workshops, and webinars
  • Subscription to Dimensions in Mission Advancement
  • Ability for NCDC to attest to the legitimacy of the organization
  • Access to the members only online resource library, including print and audio/video files
  • Advice, information, and referrals
  • Representations and Affiliations

All nonprofit organizations fit into one of four types of nonprofit membership, depending on the type of organization: Catholic organizations listed in the Official Catholic Directory, other religious charities, (arch)dioceses, and diocesan agencies. ACTIVE MEMBER

If you classify as either of the following, you are eligible for active membership:

  • A U.S. Catholic organization or institute listed in the Official Catholic Directory
  • A Catholic organization outside of the United States listed officially in the directory recognized by its respective Bishops’ Conference

Corporate partnership in NCDC helps connect the Catholic fundraising community with service providers who are experienced in Catholic fundraising. Our corporate partners help support the mission of NCDC while networking with the Catholic fundraising community.

CORPORTATE PARTNERSHIP ELIGIBILITY

Corporate partnership is available to any firm wishing to promote the interests and purposes of the Conference. Requirements of corporate partnership include:

For the three letters of recommendation, each submission must attest to the applicant's credibility and integrity. Please send these recommendations in writing with your application, or after you submit your online application.  Click here for a form letter that can be used by your references.

BECOME A CORPORATE PARTNER

SMALL FUNDRAISING OFFICE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

The NCDC Small Fundraising Office Membership Program was created for fundraising offices just starting or on a small budget. The program provides these groups an opportunity to become a member of the National Catholic Development Conference at a reduced rate for two years, but still experience the full-benefits of membership.


PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

Nonprofits with a Gross Philanthropic Income of less than $100,000 applying for either, Active or Associate membership are eligible for the program. Organizations that have previously applied for the Small Fundraising Office Membership Program are not eligible.

PROGRAM BENEFITS

The Small Fundraising Office Membership Program includes all the benefits of membership. NCDC offers a number of programs and opportunities especially appealing to organizations just starting their office or operating on a small budget, including:

The Mentoring Program, including a site visit and continued support from one of our well-experienced members. Mentoring itself is included in the cost of membership and is available upon request. Only travel expenses would have to be assumed, if applicable.

  • The opportunity to apply for a scholarship to the Annual Conference and Exposition
  • Discounted rates on programs, conferences, seminars and resources
  • Receive NCDC publications like Dimensions,Breaking News, E-ssentials, Newswire and Jobs E-bulletin

PROGRAM COST

The cost for the Small Fundraising Office Membership Program is $690.00 for two years of membership. Since this program is intended for fundraising offices just starting or on a small budget, we want to make sure you have extended support during your crucial start-up period, which is why the fee covers two years of membership. Small Fundraising Office Membership is a two-year commitment. Payment plans are available upon request.

 

HOW TO ENROLL

Applications for the Small Fundraising Office program may not be submitted online. Please print the appropriate membership form below, check that you are interested in the Small Fundraising Office Program, and submit your form by mail or fax.
